Hmmm
I've come to the conclusion that my shapes appear to abstract and its hard to tell that they are cameras I need to work on this.
Ideas
I decided to use muslin as I felt i could sew
the fabric onto the camera making it a tight
fit. Also I enjoy working with fabric and
feel it incorporates my hobbies and personality.
I used traditional colours as I felt the
shapes created appeared quite traditional so
wanted to keep this theme.
I tried out my design on material.
I used some muslin and drew around the
card shapes to create the pattern in pencil.
Here I used felt tips. This medium wasn't
the best to use as it had a very streaky effect.
I wanted to colours to almost blend together.

Creating the outline
Drawing attempts

Here was my second attempt. Once id done these
I realised I didn't need all the detail I was putting into them
as my final piece will be constructed using abstract shapes.

This was my first attempt at drawing the camera
I found it quite difficult and got the perspective completely
wrong so i decided to try again at a different angle.
