Urban camouflage

Here Wallpapers have been placed behind matching shirts making
the model appear to become part of the wall.
The Buildings above have had camouflage on the walls. The exterior has
been designed to blend into the surrounding forest.
"Utility boxes become far less of an eyesore
when they’re painted to resemble their surroundings
as artfully as these ones seen in Los Angeles. Artist
Joshua Callahan employed trompe l’oeil painting techniques
to help them practically disappear into the background.
It’s quite a fun and beautiful use of art to
minimize the ugliness of these big, gray boxes."

Body artist Emma Hack blends models into wallpaper backgrounds.

Patrick Caulfield

"Patrick Caulfield was among the generation of artists, including David Hockney, peter Blake and Allen Jones, who seemed to epitomise british pop art, although his work often has an introspective or melancholic mood quite unlike pop arts more upbeat style."
